Canion is a Norwegian company that makes MEGIN – a modular dog harness with a patented breathing bridge.
Anne Sørensen founded Canion AS in January 2020. She developed the harness herself over several years and is hands-on in the workshop in Northern Norway, where every product is made and quality-checked before it ships. MEGIN is tested in Northern Norwegian conditions – wet, cold and long days outdoors – and made to be repaired rather than replaced.
What MEGIN is

- Modular and repairable – a worn part is replaced, not the whole harness
- Soft, waterproof panels in XL EXTRALIGHT® and no load-bearing seams
- One harness for everyday walks and active sports like canicross, swimming and skijoring, for dogs from 35 lb (16 kg)
Why it was made
Dog harnesses have seen little innovation in decades. Anne struggled with the same problems in her own dogs' harnesses again and again: poor fit, choking, seams that broke, and trapped moisture and dirt that led to mold and bacteria. These problems were the rule, not the exception. So she decided to do something about it.
The dogs that use it
MEGIN is used and tested on a wide variety of breeds, such as labradors, golden retrievers, setters, weimaraners, Alaskan huskies, pointers, border collies, Australian shepherds, Eurasiers and pinschers.
